"Fortune and glory, kid."
Here's how much of a bastard I am. Everything I know about relationships with women, I learned in the '80s from the bad guys in Indiana Jones movies:
~ Raiders Of The Lost Ark
RENE BELLOQ: Dr. Jones. Again we see there is nothing you can possess which I cannot take away.
Ahh, the times I've showed up someplace and walked out with a lovely lady on my arm and this line repeating in the back of my head (sorry fellas). Belloq is cool and calculating but he gets what he wants. Even if it makes his face melt off.
~ Temple of Doom
INDY: But what about the girl!?
LAO CHE: You keep the girl! I'll find another!
Lao Che realizes how silly it is to get jealous. There are plenty of fish in the sea. You're not going to catch Lao Che sitting at home all alone, listening to The Smiths and waiting for the phone to ring.
And that's really all you need to know to be a successful player. It all boils down to the same thing, you gotta know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em.
~ Bonus Indy flick: The Lost Crusade
I can't remember any relevant quotes from this movie except for maybe Sean Connery as Indy's dad. Not a villain but a rival, who shagged the same woman as Indy and just shrugged it off.
DAD: Shipsh that passh in the night.
Yes, I watched Hollywood movies as a youth, and they taught me to be ruthless.

"Alex, I'll take 'Penis Mightier' for 400."

Wow, I learned how to deal with women from Indy. He's a cool motherfucker. But the ladies no longer dig that chivalry shit.

I'm too big an Indy fan not to point out it's the LAST Crusade.
