you're hot hot hot and you're cold cold cold

Here's a snippet of an interview with Yelle where she talks about how to seduce a French girl.

She's so adorable. Oh Yelle. I will be funny and not-too-romantic for you, and we will get run away and get married and have our honeymoon at the Ass Palace Hotel where we will like it so much that we won't ever want to leave.

"Dans un film pornographique."

"Hot N Cold." I just heard this new jam with Yelle and Katy Perry and I hate myself but my iPod was on repeat and I let the track play five times in a row before I finally got up and changed it. It's completely disposable ear candy and yet it's the song of the moment. We're hot as in Hot Action and yet it's minus thirty five celsius with the windchill here in Canada. Hot and cold. Ohhhh I get it.

It starts off with Katy's cheesy top-40 radio voice but don't be fooled because all of a sudden out of nowhere it turns into a Yelle song. Sorry Katy, you're cute and everything but Yelle comes onto this with so much energy and sass that she makes you look like a walking computer program and all of a sudden I'm jumping around the kitchen doing the Yelle dance.

I dressed up as Yelle for Halloween. The dance is when you put on your American Apparel black eel leggings and a big Pac Man t-shirt and move your shoulders around and do aerobics for an hour and a half straight.
